G321 Re-Sit- Question 4- Certification 15

The content included within the opening of our film would not have been rated a 15 however, the film in its entirety would have been rated as this. We were able to come to this conclusion after comparing the film contents to the BBFC certificate permits. The film is a romantic comedy so, other scenes within the film may have included nudity/sexual activity which would not have been allowed to have been shown in a certificate 12 film. Later on in the film break up scenes would also have been included and slightly strong language may have been involved to show frustration and anger between the characters. The target audience four our film is aged 15+ and this is another reason why our film would have been a certificate 15 in order to correspond with this.
